Tajik Pedagogical Institute in Panjakent

The international cooperation is expanding.

From October 8 to 20, 2010 the rector of  Tajik pedagogical Institute in Panjakent, Professor Muazzamkhon Ansori and Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, Professor Shodmon Vohidov paid a working visit to Istanbul at a number of well-known universities in Turkey.

On the first day, the scientist’s of Institute  were welcomed by Khalit Iren, the General Director of the Center for Islamic Studies, History and Culture, and informed all about the center and its activities. This international organization cooperates with 56 Islamic countries, including Tajikistan. Rector and his assistant visited the library, the publishing department and the published works of the center.

Rector of the Institute Ansori M.Q. was hosted by the rector of the leading Turkish University of Istanbul – University of Istanbul, Professor Erdal Karauz and was signed a bilateral agreement between the two educational institutions. Both sides concluded that independent of Tajikistan under the leadership and wise policy of the Leader of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, has moved to a new level of international relations and promoted an open door policy.

Tajik scientists at the Istanbul University and the Istanbul University of Culture have had extensive scientific discussions on the history and culture of the peoples of Central Asia. These meetings were held in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The administration of both universities also expressed their desire for comprehensive cooperation.

By the invitation of the University of Saljuk M.Ansori and Sh. Vohidov were invited to Greece (Iconium). The guest was welcomed at the railway station by the Dean of the Faculty of History and Literature Mustafa Demirchi, who spoke to the university administration. A cooperation agreement was also signed between Salchuk University and TPIP.

In Greece, the Tajik scientists visited the mausoleum of the  Jaloliddin Rumi  and returned home with a great impression.

Such visits enhance the name and the image of Tajikistan and expand cooperation in the field of education and science.
